Park West

Park West (also called ParkWest) is a central Downtown Miami neighborhood located just west of Museum Park. Its development really picked up in the mid‑2010s when parcels formerly occupied by “club row” and underused industrial or low‑rise buildings were cleared to accommodate large mixed‑use projects, particularly Miami Worldcenter. The transformation included assembling land, improving infrastructure, and integrating public spaces like Maurice A. Ferré Park / Museum Park.

Neighborhood Attractions

Park West offers a dynamic blend of urban convenience, cultural landmarks, and waterfront views—but its biggest transformation is being fueled by Miami Worldcenter, one of the largest mixed-use developments in the United States. Spanning 27 acres, this $6 billion master-planned project brings retail, dining, luxury residences, hotels, offices, and pedestrian promenades to the heart of Downtown. Residents of Park West enjoy direct access to high-end retail corridors, restaurants, green spaces, and cultural institutions, all within a walkable footprint. Key attractions of the neighborhood include Museum Park—home to the Frost Museum of Science and Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)—and the nearby Kaseya Center, which anchors sports and live entertainment. As formerly underused lots are redeveloped into vibrant public and private spaces, Park West is rapidly becoming one of Miami’s most walkable and connected neighborhoods.
