The Falcone Group, in collaboration with Nichols Architects, has unveiled plans for a new 53-story mixed-use tower at Block C, East of Miami Worldcenter. This ambitious project promises to reshape the luxury living and hospitality sectors within the expansive Miami Worldcenter complex, spanning ten blocks and 27 acres.
Nestled at 110 Northeast 10th Street, the new tower enjoys a prime location adjacent to the Miami Worldcenter promenade and the Paramount Miami Worldcenter tower, standing tall amidst the city's bustling downtown. Nichols Architects, renowned for its distinguished designs in the hospitality sector, brings its expertise to Block C, East, following its success with projects like the W Hotel and EDITION hotels in Miami Beach.
Alfonso Costa Jr, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Falcone Group, expresses excitement about the project, stating, "With the city’s continued growth and an ever-increasing desire by people to invest, live, work, and vacation here, we are confident this condo-hotel project will meet the mark and exceed the most sophisticated of expectations when it comes to luxury living."
The tower's architectural plan is a testament to innovation and luxury living. The first two levels feature premium retail outlets and a distinctive two-story restaurant, seamlessly connecting to the promenade. A rooftop restaurant, doubling as a garage space, adds a unique flair to the culinary experience. The tower's design also incorporates lush landscaping by Kimley-Horn, enhancing its connection to the surroundings.
Residential sections of the tower offer unparalleled living experiences, boasting access to two pool decks. The 10th-level pool deck provides a secluded oasis for residents, while the crown jewel is the 25th-level hotel pool deck, offering sweeping views of the Miami skyline, creating a true architectural gem.
Igor Reyes, principal at Nichols Architects, highlights the innovative design, stating, "By opening the core of the building and strategically splitting the tower massing, we’ve unveiled a truly innovative design for Block C. This architectural choice allows for the integration of a unique pool deck and hotel lounge bar at the 25th level, offering a heightened and immersive experience, marked by panoramic views of the city."
The tower's layout encompasses a diverse array of facilities, including a hotel with 280 rooms, 351 luxury condominiums, and ample amenities such as a gym, spa, and meeting spaces. The project also allocates space for retail outlets and a restaurant, promising an enriching lifestyle for residents and visitors alike.
This project marks a significant stride in the evolution of Miami Worldcenter into a dynamic urban center. Nichols Architects, with its forward-thinking design philosophy, promises to contribute another iconic landmark to Miami's architectural landscape.
