All-Star NBA player Victor Oladipo, recently sold his Miami Beach property. According to records, Oladipo sold the non-waterfront mansion at 65 South Hibiscus Drive for $9 million, two years after purchasing it for a then-record $7.8 million.

In 2021, Oladipo had just become a member of the Miami Heat and had just purchased the 6,500-square-foot house. According to records, the house was built in 2020 and has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. It covers 0.3 acres, which according to Hogan is unusual for Hibiscus Island. According to Hogan, the house contains a pool, two master bedrooms, and a separate guest house.

Oladipo paid a sum that, at the time, set a Miami Beach non-waterfront home record, but that record was quickly broken when the area’s housing market experienced a price increase due to increasing demand. When a Sunset Islands home sold for $12.5 million in 2022, it set the record for the most money ever paid for a non-waterfront residence in Miami Beach.

According to Hogan, the most recent sale sets a Hibiscus Island price record for non-waterfront properties. According to Redfin, Oladipo listed the home in June for $10 million.

Throughout his 10-year NBA career, the two-time All-Star has sustained numerous injuries. He was transferred from the Heat to the Thunder in July, however, there is some talk that he might be moved again, according to Hogan. According to the Bleacher Report, Oladipo filed a lawsuit against his longtime manager, James Henderson, in June, accusing him of stealing $1.3 million from Oladipo and investing it in a condo and a nightclub.

Hogan stated that Oladipo wants to keep a “home base” in the Miami area and wants a bigger yard for his daughter even though his basketball future is uncertain. According to Hogan, they have been looking at homes in Pinecrest, a well-known inland hub for NBA players, as well as Weston, Davie, Southwest Ranches, and Pinecrest.

Earlier last month, Jason Richardson, a retired NBA star, paid $6.3 million for a house close to Olympia Heights. Jimmy Butler, a member of the Miami Heat, purchased a South Miami house for $7.4 million in February of last year.

Piqué, who was born in Barcelona, had a fruitful career with FC Barcelona, the illustrious team representing the city. Before the defender announced his retirement from the game in November 2022, his teams won eight La Liga championships and three Champions League trophies.

With the recent news of her departure, Shakira has been seen looking at homes across Miami and plans to spend up to $50 million for a mega-mansion.

Pictures of the glam pop diva and her brother visiting more than six potential properties in Florida’s wealthy neighborhoods were captured.

The 46-year-old is apparently renting a $15 million waterfront mansion while searching for a larger place to settle down with her kids Milan and Sasha, ages ten and eight.

The 23,760-square-foot house, which was created by the architecture company Choeff Levy Fischman, has 110 feet of water frontage, a private dock, a pool, and an outdoor kitchen. It is located on the border of Biscayne Bay. Despite being a brand-new construction, Wayne upgraded the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion.

There is also an elevator, a movie theater, a wine cellar, two family rooms, staff quarters, a chef’s kitchen, and a butler’s kitchen inside the 10,300-square-foot, two-level residence. Almost every room has floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that let in the beautiful Miami weather. The chef’s kitchen and one of the family rooms also lead to a lush, green indoor courtyard.

Condos and townhomes can be found on the southern Island, also called Aqua, while only waterfront mansions with several enormous lots and ultra-modern architecture can be found on the northern Island. This neighborhood’s great demand is in part due to the fact that every single home on the Island has immediate water access to Biscayne Bay.

Record Breaking Waterfront Mansion Sold in Coconut Grove for $106.9 Million

Adrienne Arsht Sells Waterfront Mansion

Adrienne Arsht, a local philanthropist, set a Miami-Dade County record when she sold her waterfront property in Coconut Grove for $106.9 million.

The sale of the home represents a 29% decrease from the property’s initial $150 million asking price and this sale marks the first residential sale to exceed the $100 million threshold.

The 2 two-story homes sit on 3031 and 3115 Brickell Avenue and are frequently referred to as South Florida’s “embassy,” due to the many U.S. and international officials frequenting the home.

There are a total of 12 bedrooms and 13 and a half bathrooms in the 25,000-square-foot home. The 4-acre property has 400 feet of water frontage, is close to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, and overlooks Biscayne Bay. The main house, known as Indian Spring, was built by Arsht in 1999.

It has a dining room that seats more than 20 people, a six-car garage with an office and apartment upstairs, a pool, and a tennis court. Indian Spring was designed by Jose Gelabert-Navia, a former dean of the University of Miami School of Architecture. Villa Serena, the other house, was constructed in 1913.

The property was developed by William Jennings Bryan, a former U.S. Secretary of State and a 3x presidential candidate. Arsht restored the waterfront mansion and it is now registered in the National Register of Historic Places.

According to records, she purchased the property in two transactions, paying $4 million for the land on which the contemporary house was built in 1996 and then $12 million for the ancient home in 2007.

Arsht, a native of Delaware, made a name for herself in Miami’s financial world and as an arts patron. She gave the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts a $30 million gift, earning it the moniker Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District. She has also served as TotalBank’s chair in the past.

The transaction surpasses the previous high in Miami-Dade, which was set this summer by the $93 million purchase of three homes in Golden Beach by the founder of the technology business InterSystems. Ragon intends to demolish the buildings and build a new house in their stead.
