Beware- Alaqua condos is running a scam-My real estate agent and I were there to see a condo that was for sale .The guard at the gate waves us in and we park in “guest ” parking spot, Then another hired company comes by &”boots’ the car. Apparently the guard is supposed to give you a piece of paper for “permission” to park as a guest. When we complain that the guard never gave us anything and just waved us in, we are told – too bad. You have to pay $65 to get your card free, If you don’t pay your car is held. We all paid and not just us, A bunch of angry people fell into the trap. They all paid to get free. We were trapped for three hours today. One woman was crying that she had cancer and had to go to a doctors appointment and could not afford $65. It fell on deaf ears. . Imagine how much $ they rack up every day. When we called the police, the cop said he would not do anything about it.
Oldest trick in the book.
